The Texture Solutions (TS) Business Manager is key to the execution of the TS Food Strategy in the region, driving business growth by shaping the product line to meet market demands whilst applying an entrepreneurial mindset in leading the implementation of new strategic initiatives. Responsible for communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels to drive profitability within the TS portfolio, gathering competitive intelligence, determining new opportunities and leveraging successes. The TS Business Manager will bring advanced knowledge in products, applications and regional regulatory requirements to maximize effective decision making and the positioning of new services, packaging and business models together with the local GTM teams. The TS Business Manager will be expected to think and act with a strategic mindset that supports the commercialization of value enhancing innovation projects in the region.
What you will do:
Drive Execution of Strategic Initiatives: Implement TS strategic initiatives through the US/Can GTM organization.
Collect and Communicate Customer Feedback: Serve as the contact point for the sales team to gather local customer feedback, market demands, and opportunities, and communicate these insights to global portfolio management.
Market-Based View for Global Leaders: Provide a market/category-based perspective to Global Product Leaders, ensuring the regional product line is updated and adapted to meet market needs.
Analyze Regional Performance: Evaluate the regional performance of the TS portfolio, ensuring the implementation of targeted price/margin guidelines, and provide input on local dynamics for setting price guidelines.
Optimize Product Portfolio: Monitor the product portfolio and margins, suggest additions or eliminations of products to optimize profitability, and address significant margin deviations with sales leaders or asset operations.
Review Regional Volumes and Pipeline: Review TS portfolio regional volumes against targets, address variations with sales and technical leaders, and ensure the delivery of the regional opportunity pipeline.
Market and Competitor Intelligence: Provide local market and competitor intelligence, identify trends and opportunities, and support the regional Marketing lead with product launch activities within T&HS USCAN.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Food Science, or a related discipline.
Solid track record of delivering strong results year over year.
Willingness to travel at least 10-15%% of the time.

$119,520.00-$159,360.00 AnnualThis pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).
Incentive Compensation:
As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
