Job Description

U.S. Bank Europe is seeking a Business Line Quality Assurance (BLQA) Analyst responsible for the execution of quality assurance testing activities within the Business line Chief Risk Office (BL CRO) teams. The BLQA Analyst plays an important role in risk management by ensuring controls executed across our European and North American footprint are appropriately designed and operating effectively to mitigate the identified risks, including operational risks, compliance and AML/BSA/OFAC.

In meeting these objectives, the BLQA Analyst will be responsible for test preparation, test execution and identification of control and process weaknesses through testing activities. The Analyst will perform these routine to moderately complex testing and control assessment activities in accordance with the annual test plan. Additionally, the Analyst will be responsible for performing the following key activities for a portfolio of controls:

Investigating compliance of the laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures that apply to one or more functional areas supported  Ensure proficient knowledge of the operations of the functional areasLead or perform process inquiries, walkthroughs and procedure review to support the development/design of QA test work papersIdentify and document the process to validate test populations and pull sample of desired control activityMonitor key risk indicators and emerging risks to identify potential edits or updates for existing test scripts/proceduresVerify the resolution of previously identified issuesPerform QA tests, analyze evidence of transaction handling or control performance against defined policies, guidelines or laws, identifying control deficiencies when presentLead or facilitate test result discussions with business line management and risk partners related to identified exceptions/issues, criteria used to define expected results, root cause assessment, exposure assessment, and actions needed/recommendedDraft report for management review and distribution; compile, analyze, and document test workpapers which support reported results to key stakeholdersUtilize effective verbal communication of testing results to the BLQA Manager and for responding to and/or escalating significant risks as appropriateMaintain accurate and complete records and prepare statements and reportsOther deliverables as assigned by management

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceTypically three to five years of applicable experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

Strong accuracy and attention to detailProven ability to analyze data and identify/resolve exceptions.Thorough knowledge of Risk, Compliance, and/or Audit competenciesIntermediate understanding of risk and compliance in a financial services setting, and associated products, services, and systemsSelf-motivated, able to work in a group as well as independentlyAbility to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneouslySolid business acumen and credibility to help business units proactively identify and address risksAbility to identify and clearly communicate and document issues, root cause, exposure and recommendationsDemonstrated process facilitation, project management, and analytical skillsEffective presentation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Proven computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications, Archer eGRC, ServiceNow and Tableau / PowerBI.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: zł139 400,00 - zł164 000,00
