Business Line Owner

Responsibilities:
• Define and own the business strategy for your vertical — from market positioning and customer segmentation to growth levers and long-term vision.
• Drive top-line performance, optimizing GMV, order frequency, and margin through pricing, promotions, assortment, and strategic initiatives.
• Leverage deep customer and market insights to identify untapped opportunities and design differentiated, high-impact experiences.
• Act as GM for your vertical, coordinating across Product, Marketing, Ops, Data, and Finance to deliver aligned and efficient execution.
• Launch and scale initiatives, from feature rollouts and campaigns to new geographies and customer segments — tailoring strategies to local nuances.
• Establish strong external partnerships, becoming the key relationship owner with vendors, brands, and local businesses.
• Own performance metrics end-to-end — revenue, margin, retention, NPS, and unit economics — with full accountability.
• Continuously test, learn, and iterate, using data, experimentation, and intuition to challenge assumptions and unlock growth.
• Be the voice of the category — tracking industry trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer behavior to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:
• +8 years of experience in business development, category management, marketing strategy, or similar roles — ideally in tech, e-commerce, FMCG, or marketplaces.
• Proven success in building and growing a business line, preferably in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• You think like an owner. Strategic but hands-on. Visionary but pragmatic.
• Strong analytical skills — you live in Excel, love dashboards, and trust the numbers.
• Excellent communication skills — you know how to influence, pitch ideas, and drive alignment.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Ops teams.
• An entrepreneurial mindset: you build, you test, you pivot, you grow.
