About the Role
The Senior Business Analyst position for the CBRE Business Analytics group acts as a project manager and technical lead for business intelligence projects focused on real estate data analyses for CBRE’s clients. Through data warehousing, visualization, and examination, this position helps our clients optimize their operations across all service lines: facilities management, project management, finance, portfolio administration, cost forecasting, etc. A senior analyst works closely with our clients and database technical team to automate data collection from source operational systems, aggregate and standardize the information in a data warehouse, and develop Tableau dashboards that leverage the warehouse to generate meaningful client insights.
Additionally, the CBRE Business Analytics group helps our clients develop budgets, benchmark facility operating costs, and predict upcoming capital requirements. A senior analyst leads projects to collect the requisite client real estate data, build and refine cost models using CBRE tools, and present a meaningful financial story in formal reports and briefings. The ideal candidate possesses a broad skill set across five key categories: Tableau expertise, experience in data modeling and relational databases, advanced project management, strong client-facing communications, and knowledge of the corporate real estate outsourcing industry. Minimum of five years of experience. This position requires a minimum of 2 days in Office with the remainder remote.
