This role sits in the APAC Data Engineering and Visualization team. You will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights using Power BI in the APJ region

A day in the Life:Collaborate with business partners to gather data requirements, analyze data sources, and design dashboards that provide valuable insights.Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.Build visually appealing and interactive Power BI dashboards that enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.Monitor and optimize solutions for performance, scalability, and data refresh efficiency.Collaborate with data governance to implement standard processes to maintain data quality and security.Maintain detailed documentation of Power BI solutions, data models, and processes for operational support and compliance.Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior developers.Keys to Success:EducationBachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science or related field.Experience6+ years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer/BI Engineer, with proven expertise in complex data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.Strong expertise in SQL (optimization, stored procedures, indexing, query tuning)Understanding of Databricks and AWS technologies –Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2 etc.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAdvanced Power BI expertise – row-level security, paginated reports, dataflows, composite models, deployment pipelines.Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and extraction.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and collaborative environment.Physical Requirements / Work Environment
