About the Role
In this role, you’ll design robust data models using SQL, dbt, and Redshift, while driving best practices across development, deployment, and monitoring. You'll also collaborate closely with product and engineering to ensure data quality and impactful deliveryResponsibilitiesCreate optimized data models with SQL, DBT and RedshiftWrite functional and column level test for ModelsBuild reports from the data modelsCollaborate with product to clarify requirement and create design documentGet design reviewed from Architect/Principal/Lead EngineerContribute to code reviewsSet up and monitor Airflow DAGsSet up and use CI/CD pipelinesLeverage Kubernetes operators for deployment automationEnsure data quality Drive best practices in Data models development, deployment, and monitoring SkillsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineeringStrong expertise in SQL for complex data querying and optimizationHands-on experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration and schedulingGood understanding of data modeling and data warehousing conceptsExperience with dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modelingExposure to Amazon Redshift or other cloud data warehousesFamiliarity with CI/CD tools such as JenkinsExperience using Bitbucket for version controlWorking knowledge of JIRA for agile project tracking Ability to work with cross-functional and dependent teams, think and own on delivering end to end. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Experience and QualificationsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering (computer science, information systems)At least 1-2years of experience in working on data, especially on reporting, data analysisEqual Opportunity
