Emplify Health is seeking a high-performing Business Intelligence Consultant to join our Strategy & Innovation team. This role is pivotal in advancing enterprise-level strategic initiatives by transforming complex business challenges into actionable insights and analytic solutions.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and excels at partnering with operational leaders to drive data-informed decision-making. You’ll help shape how we use data to guide strategy and execution blending traditional business analysis with modern business intelligence and modeling capabilities.

Key Focus Areas Include:

Payor Strategy: Analyze reimbursement models across regions, including Medicare/Medicaid. Evaluate value-based care vs. fee-for-service and tie insights back to P&L. Develop strategic recommendations

Service-Line: Collaborate with leaders to understand business questions, gather relevant data, and optimize profitability.

Growth: Contribute to expansion planning, whether through building, buying, or partnering. Support diligence efforts and strategic modeling.

What's Available:

Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE)

Core business hours, Monday-Friday

Location: This role has the ability to work onsite, hybrid, or remote. Remote employment options are available for residents of WI, MN, and IA only.  

An Ideal Candidate Will Have:

 Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education

Experience in healthcare operations or analytics.

Background in strategic planning, transformation, or innovation initiatives

Strong analytical and storytelling skills using data.

Proven experience as a Business Analyst or BI Consultant in a strategic or operational context.

Proficiency in SQL and working with large, complex datasets.

Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Familiarity with quantitative techniques (e.g., regression, forecasting, scenario modeling) using tools like R, Python, or MATLAB.

Excellent communication skills with a consultative approach.

A desire to contribute to a culture of innovation by identifying new opportunities to use data to drive improvement.
