**Position Summary**
The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst is responsible for analyzing business intelligence data to support strategic business and product decisions. This includes integrating historical data from various sources—such as industry reports, public datasets, field reports, and purchased data—to generate actionable insights.
**Responsibilities**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Identifying and interpreting market and geographic trends to assess product performance.
+ Monitoring current and emerging signals that may impact business outcomes.
+ Collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Legal, and Product Development to provide a comprehensive view of product performance.
**Reporting, Data, and Analytics:**
+ Process, track, analyze, and verify standard monthly and quarterly reports.
+ Create and provide analysis and reports using multiple data platforms.
+ Support leaders with reports, issue research, and data-driven recommendations.
+ Develop and distribute ad-hoc reports.
+ Perform data health and quality checks to ensure reporting accuracy.
+ Recommend data health enhancements based on business analysis.
+ Develop operational procedures and document data health and reporting activities.
**Operational Cross-Functional Support:**
+ Collaborate on operational and reporting/analytics throughout the Quality organization.
+ Support special projects and enhancements to Quality early warning systems.
+ Act as an expert on data analytics and liaison to the Corporate Quality Team.
**Data Solutions and Automation:**
+ Develop and maintain data collection systems for various needs (e.g., Warranty, Market Audits, Return Product Reporting).
+ Collaborate on data solutions fitting the infrastructure.
+ Create monthly and annual performance reports.
+ Implement automated solutions for Quality data warehouse ETLs.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, data analytics, statistics or related field, or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
+ Proficiency in MS Office Suite and advanced Excel skills.
+ Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
+ Experience with Querying SQL databases.
+ Ability to work with large datasets in cloud-based data warehouse environments.
+ Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with data transformation tools (Alteryx) and Tableau Prep.
+ Experience creating Microsoft PowerApps.
+ Experience navigating and acquire data from SAP.
+ Advance experience writing SQL queries.
