Join our united team! **What is the job about?** You will act as a critical liaison between stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on data consumption needs. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will transform raw data into meaningful insights to help businesses make informed decisions, gathering, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data, using analytical techniques and data visualization tools. You will also present data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance strategy development, execution and results within the business. Your work will be essential in analyzing trends, identifying gaps and supporting operational initiatives that influence the company’s strategic direction. This position reports directly to our VP Water Utility & Industry Business Unit and will operate out of the Indianapolis, IN facility in a hybrid function. Qualified candidates must have the authorization to work in the USA without support. **Your main responsibilities** : + Data Collection and Preparation: gathering data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external datasets. Cleaning and transforming this data to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis. + Data Analysis: using data science methods, data mining techniques, and other analytical tools to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within the data. + Data Visualization: creating visualizations to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. + Reporting and Communication: preparing reports and presentations summarizing findings and recommendations to guide business decisions. + Helping identify and solve business problems by analyzing data and providing insights. + Identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities from data to support product-market, sales and business strategy development. + Maintaining reports and tracking standardized KPIs for departmental, product-market and executive dashboards. + Extracting large data sets, modeling business decisions, and conducting strategic analysis to support business processes (sales pipeline management, customer acquisition, resource coverage, customer retention efforts, product and market needs / trends and business performance criteria). + Providing data-based guidance for product development by defining strategy, facilitating product roadmaps, prioritizing feature development, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring successful product-market launches. **Your background** We imagine that you have: + A four-year technical degree in Data Analytics, Economics/Finance, Information Systems, or related field. + 1-2 years of experience in data science and data analytics and business intelligence is preferred. + Power BI, SAP Analytics and other visualization tools, Microsoft Office, and SQL experience are strongly preferred. + Proficiency in programming and database languages, management and data visualization. + Strong computer skills and hands-on experience with cloud computing and data storage. + Product management, product development and product life cycle knowledge. + Data science, machine learning, big data and data analysis knowledge. + Business intelligence, research and analytical skills. + Marketing and project management skills. + A willingness to travel up to 15% if necessary. As a result, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification. + The ability to operate out of the Indianapolis, Indiana facility in a hybrid function.
