The role
As a Business Information Analyst, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will use your expertise in data analytics and Business Information development to provide actionable insights for decision support and helping to manage complex enterprise problems.
Day-to-day, you will generate insights for decision support to improve and maintain equipment availability for the British Army.
Collect, clean, and analyse large volumes of data from multiple sources, ensuring where possible end to end integration, including internal and external sources. Deliver key information and actionable insights from enterprise level data to support team strategy and objectives. Liaise with business SME’s to ensure data and insights aligns with contextual findings in support of Through Life Equipment Support. Undertake adhoc analysis tasks in support of Planning and Asset management requirements. Use extant and emerging systems to develop reporting solutions, including but not limited to: SQL, Excel, Power BI, Qlikview and Palantir Foundry
This role is full time working 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements including travel to Donnington and Warminster.
Essential experience of the Business Information Analyst:
Experience utilising data to identify insights and help develop clear and concise narratives for business reporting. Advanced analytical skills Reporting Software, Power BI, Excel SQL SQL Server
Qualifications for the Business Information Analyst:
A degree in relevant subject e.g computer science, maths etc. or equivalent years of work experience preferred.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
