Job SummaryWe are looking for a new Business Excellence Engineer, BAR employee to be based in Kendal – Westmorland Business Park.
What a typical day looks like:
Process Optimization: Identifying and analysing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in business processes.Quality Management: Implementing and maintaining quality standards and processes.Continuous Improvement: Driving ongoing efforts to enhance performance and efficiency.Change Management: Implementing and managing changes effectively, ensuring buy-in and support from stakeholders.Lean and Six Sigma: Applying these methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, improve processes, and reduce variation.Project Management: Planning, executing, and monitoring projects to achieve specific business improvement goals.Data Analysis: Analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.Problem-Solving: Developing and implementing solutions to address specific business challenges.Experience/qualification we are looking to add to our team:
Engineering qualification2-3 years of experience in manufacturing environmentGreen Belt Certification in Lean /Six Sigma.Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail.Must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.is desirableBusbar experience and Project Management certification would be advantageousFamiliarity with business process modelling and simulation tools.Eligibility to work in the UKWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:
