You proactively provide advice and enable clients to leverage RBC’s business electronic solutions (Cash Management and Merchant Solutions), taking responsibility for clients’ onboarding, activation, and ongoing adoption of digital solutions. You deliver on business priorities and improve the client experience through execution of sales plans to acquire new clients and recommend appropriate services to existing clients, while partnering with other colleagues across RBC Financial Group to drive client loyalty and build long-term profitable client relationships.
What will you do?
Lead with a growth mindset, focusing on what’s possible to maximize client acquisition, , retention and an exceptional client experience.You are a mobile sales professional and subject matter expert who leverages face-to-face or virtual client interactions to deepen understanding of your client’s business operations and to make recommendations on Business Electronic Solutions that directly address their payment and cash management needs.You bring RBC expertise to clients through understanding of business cash flow and sales cycles to be able to conduct professional consultations with executives.You collaborate with Business & Corporate Banking partners including joint prospecting calls to identify and qualify sales opportunities.Manage the onboarding of all Business Electronic Solutions from pre-sales to enrolment working with technical experts as required and introducing after sales support.Demonstrate digital IQ by building awareness and encouraging clients to fully leverage digital solutions on an ongoing basis to optimize their business’s operations.Deliver financial and business insight advice through a differentiated value proposition by presenting solutions that clearly articulate the benefits and advantages to the client; help the client to understand alternatives, navigate and implement proposed solutions; and identify opportunities and refer clients to RBC Partners to meet the client’s broader advice needsEducate the client with new or emerging issues that will impact their business by providing the client with unique, valuable insights on the client’s industry, business or marketWhat do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Be Tech savvy understanding how digital solutions bring efficiencies to businesses.University degree, ideally in commerce, finance, business administration or related experienceMinimum 3-5 years commercial / business / corporate banking experienceNew client acquisition skills (i.e. pitching the value proposition, initial customer contact and cold calling, making partner referrals)Strong collaboration, communication, selling and presentation skillsNice-to-have
