Business Development Strategist Principal - Remote

It fuels our passion and drives every decision we make. **Job Posting Title** Business Development Strategist Principal - Remote **Job Description** The Business Development Strategist Principal is responsible for the development and execution of specialty and home delivery pharmacy services, including distribution strategy, contracting and marketing support necessary to drive client growth and retention through data-driven insights, systematic performance tracking, and cross functional collaboration. This position works collaboratively with multiple internal departments including sales, marketing, account management, clinical, product development, legal, and contracting to support strategic objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes. **Responsibilities** + Act as point of contact for RFP question development and assist proposal writers with SME support + Collaborates with Prime’s Sales and Marketing teams to advance enterprise growth objectives by shaping overall specialty pharmacy strategy, contributing in the review of Request for Proposals (RFPs), and evaluating contract documentation to ensure alignment with business goals + Develop and deliver persuasive, narrative-driven presentations to both internal and external stakeholders, effectively using storytelling to clearly articulate value propositions and confidently make decisions during finalist presentations + Develop Product Sales strategy and program design for clients, using data and analytics to support adoption of services and products with new and existing clients + Oversee development, upkeep and refresh of external facing materials such as slide decks, publications, and specialty and home delivery distribution strategy value story + Develop, maintain and deliver monthly pipeline reports and business development scorecards to leadership for visibility into products adoption and sales opportunities + Other duties as assigned **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience + 7 years' experience including product development. market strategy, consultative experience within PBM, specialty pharmacy, or other related entity + Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship **Additional Qualifications** + In-depth knowledge of payer/PBM economics, including an understanding of key issues and market levers, given the changing US healthcare landscape + Ability to anticipate market strategy and create execute on multiple projects and manage project timelines + Strong collaboration skills; ability to work with and lead a variety of internal cross-functional teams at all levels within the organization + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Ability to create and deliver presentations to leaders and subject matter expertise + Ability to establish trust, respect and credibility and form close working relationships with all stakeholders + Strong understanding of the pharmacy supply chain and proven track record of strategy and/or sales support **Preferred Qualifications** + MBA, PharmD, JD, or other advanced degree **Physical Demands:** + Ability to travel up to 20% of the time + Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds + Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Must be able to “move or traverse” + Must be able to constantly operate a computer and/or other office productivity equipment. + Must be able to hear and constantly communicate information and ideas.
