Business Development Strategist
Description We are looking for a dynamic and forward-thinking Business Development Strategist to join our team in Germantown, North Carolina. In this role, you will drive growth and innovation by identifying opportunities to expand our services and reach municipalities nationwide. This position is ideal for a strategic individual who thrives on building relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and delivering impactful solutions. This role will work largely in a remote capacity with 20% travel to WV IL SC GA AL and NC Responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategies to establish and expand the company’s presence in high-potential geographic areas. • Collaborate with solution leaders to enhance the value and reach of existing services. • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new service offerings, regional growth, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. • Innovate and nurture ideas for new initiatives, products, or services, guiding them from concept to launch. • Lead account management strategies by coordinating efforts across various client service teams to ensure seamless delivery. • Participate in sourcing and selecting key components for executing mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and new service developments. • Set strategic financial and operational goals within assigned regions, working collaboratively in a matrix environment. • Partner with business unit leaders to drive service expansion and achieve financial performance targets. • Foster strong relationships and promote collaboration across all teams and leadership levels. Requirements • At least 3 years of experience in business development or a related field. • Proficiency in CRM systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools. • Strong knowledge of financial services, capital management, and budgeting processes. • Experience with cold calling and client acquisition strategies. • Familiarity with tools such as ADP, iDeals, and 3M. • Background in banking operations or related industries. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and initiatives. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong and effective relationships.
