The role youll contribute:

The Business Development Specialist gives support to the Business Development department. Cultivates relationships with key personnel at existing Select Employer Groups (SEGs) to maintain AdventHealth Credit Union's position as a benefit to the company employees through in-person contacts, on-site presentation to groups, special customized promotions, and participating in orientation sessions and benefit days. Responsible for generating member's data, solving day-to-day queries, answering emails, and other member-related interactions. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value youll bring to the team:

Represents the credit union at various public functions, such as orientation sessions, benefit days, company-sponsored events to promote credit union products and services to current and potential members. Maintains a visible presence in the sponsor community.

Assists in ongoing marketing campaigns and sales promotions within the credit union to increase SEGs. Collaborates with the Business Development & Branch Manager to develop strategies to increase membership and acquire new loans.

Makes formal presentations at SEGs to introduce the credit union to new hires; answers questions and provides a resource that encourages participation. Participates in onsite SEG enrollment, opening new membership accounts, interviews new member applicants, collect members data and enter membership information in a data processing system. Solves day-today queries and answer emails. Utilizes need-based selling to uncover additional needs and upsell credit union products.

Facilitates educational seminars hosted by the credit union to promote financial literacy.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:

Three plus years related experience
