Your Role

The business development Specialist will support the development and execution of strategies to drive business growth and expand market presence. Will assist in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and supporting sales efforts to increase market share for our range of ophthalmic lens products, VTS devices and business models.

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

Detailing company products to optical outletsWorking towards monthly sales and revenue targetsProgressing towards activity targets and KPIs set by the National Sales ManagerAttending to customers’ needs and requirements as well as providing prompt after-sales serviceMaintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and new customersNegotiating the terms of agreement and closing salesGathering of customer and market informationGaining clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirementsRepresenting the company in trade shows, events and exhibitionsAdvising customers on new products and special promotionsReviewing sales targets and aiming to exceed sales targetsAttending team meetings and sharing the best practice with colleaguesFollow-up closely with accounts receivables to ensure targeted bill collection ratioEstablish good visual visibility display for brand awarenessPlan and execute account promotions and marketing activitiesAny other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management

Your Experience

Minimum Diploma in Business, Marketing or OptometryAt least 2 years related work experience preferably from the optical industryPrevious experience in a sales roleSelf-motivated and organized individual with a positive can-do attitudeTrack record of achieving KPIs and targetsOutgoing with an ability to build rapport with people of all backgroundsHonest with strong sense of integrity and will to do the right thingGood commercial sense and business acumenStrong presentation and selling skills
