Business Development Representative

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our client's growing team! As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll help grow their customer base in the higher education and professional learning sectors. You'll engage prospects through a mix of inbound and outbound outreach—calls, emails, video, and social media—and work closely with sales and marketing to drive pipeline growth. A successful candidate will have a demonstrated enthusiasm for sales and a genuine love for building relationships!
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and qualify new leads in the education space
- Respond quickly to inbound demo requests
- Execute outbound campaigns to schedule meetings with qualified prospects
- Educate potential clients on our solutions and value
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging and strategy
- Research buyer personas and tailor outreach accordingly
- Share market feedback to help improve our offerings
- Test new outreach tactics and optimize messaging
- Keep CRM records accurate and up to date
Salary: $60-65k annually, plus uncapped commission. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or marketing
- 1–3 years in SaaS business development or sales
- Experience with Salesforce
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter who thrives in a remote work environment
- Clear, confident, and thoughtful communicator
- Ambitious and motivated - Prior experience in EdTech
- Experience with LinkedIn Navigator, RevenueGrid, SalesLoft, Qualified, 6Sense, ZoomInfo, and/or other platforms null
