As a Business Development Representative (BDR) focused on the Performance market, you’ll help elite training centers, collegiate programs, and sports performance facilities access the tools they need to elevate athletic potential.

What You’ll Do
Proactively generate new business opportunities in the high-performance training space through cold calling, lead conversion, and strategic outreach.
Engage with performance-focused clients such as athletic training centers, collegiate programs, and elite gyms.
Manage small opportunities (under $25K) from start to close; qualify and pass larger opportunities to field sales.
Collaborate with field sales teams to support regional campaigns, build Salesforce reports, and follow up on open opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of outreach and follow-up activities in Salesforce to ensure seamless pipeline tracking.
What Success Looks Like
Conduct 50 or more high-quality prospect conversations per month.
Close at least 10 new deals monthly.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline in the sports performance and athletic development sector.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
6 or more months of inside sales or consultative phone sales experience.
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Passion for sports performance, strength and conditioning, or athletic training.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, engaging style.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
Strong time management and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

At Life Fitness / Hammer Strength, we believe in taking care of our team with a comprehensive total rewards package that includes competitive pay and a range of valuable benefits. The salary range for this position, intended for U.S. applicants, is $46,200 - $63,000 annually.The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Rosemont, IL and the actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.This position is eligible to participate in Life Fitness / Hammer Strength’s Sales Incentive Plan with monthly commission eligibility, in addition to base salary. The amount of any commission and bonus varies based on attainment of individual performance goals and other relevant factors, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.Life Fitness / Hammer Strength offers a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time team members, including, but not limited to: a 401(k) savings plan with 4% employer match; medical, dental and vision insurance, parental, medical and military leaves of absence, paid time off, including 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, paid vacation days beginning at 13 days annually, paid sick leave as provided under state and local paid sick leave laws, company paid short-term disability and optional long-term disability, health savings account, health care and dependent care reimbursement accounts, employee and dependent life insurance and supplemental life and AD&D insurance, hospital indemnity; identity protection, legal services, adoption assistance, tuition assistance, commuter benefits, employee discounts, and an employee assistance program that includes free counseling sessions.
