We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Endress+Hauser (E+H) Vietnam Company Limited in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
What is the role about?
Be responsible for strategic and tactical activities with the Sales Channel Partner (SCP) by formulating and executing the assigned country/ territories business strategies with the SCP to grow overall sales and market, indicated by healthy Pipeline, Order Entry, Net Sales and Gross Profit for the countries in charge. Driving SCP to develop new accounts within the territory, maintain and cross selling into existing accounts to meet annual sales goals and grow customer share. Develop and strengthen SCP relationship and efficient collaboration with Endress+ Hauser organization and stakeholders to sell full portfolio of Endress+Hauser Products, Solutions and Services. Developing relationships with partners and end-customers in the Taiwan market to enhance Endress+Hauser availability. Implemented strategies to increase market size and volume, leading to improved customer satisfaction.
Which tasks will you perform?
Setting achievable challenging target for the SCP and assuring reaching them. Monthly/ quarterly performance review meeting with SCP and E+H stakeholders to drive performance and improvement. Following the new Business Process Management (BPM) logic and structure to assure high customer satisfaction in the assigned territories/countries. Develop account plans and drive execution of strategic activities with SCP on top accounts. Support the implementation of customer segmentation marketing and sales (Standard 206). Active in project acquisition. Coordination of national and international projects. Training for employees of local organizations in technical, commercial, and market aspects. Coordinate and collaborate with Internal Sales Engineers (ISE) in daily business and in execution of projects. Manage and execute pricing structure/policy to SCP, Strategic Accounts, under the guidance of Head of Department/ Functional Owner. Align with other internal functions to clarify other topics (e.g., commercial, logistics, etc.) when needed. Execution of seminars for customer/SCP; accompany customers for local, regional or overseas visits of exhibitions, production facilities, events such as exhibitions or E+H Head quarter. Be “on the roads” to pursue key projects, develop strong relationships with Strategic Accounts, and being equipped with strong knowledge of E+H portfolio, the market, competition, internal E+H processes and local organizations (SCP). Leverage Salesforce.com and Business Excellence processes to drive efficient business collaboration/ activities with SCP. Lead marketing, sales, and services activities to drive Endress+Hauser business growth in Taiwan. Other tasks upon reasonable request by Company from time to time.
What do we expect from you?
Bachelor’s degree in engineering 6+ years of working experience Strong technical instrumentation and application knowledge competencies (knowledge of Process Instrumentation products is preferred) Business acumen knowledge is a must Proficiency in Mandarin and English is a must Business Development knowledge is a plus Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, SFDC is preferred High degree of empathy and competitiveness Networker Enthusiasm Resiliency Interpersonal communication skills Intercultural understanding Negotiation skills Willingness to frequent travel
