Job Description:

This position is responsible for managing existing and developing new customer relationships in industrial and electronics markets for Vespel® in EMEA. This position actively works to identify new opportunities at current and prospective customers by promoting and selling DuPont Vespel® solutions for profitable business growth.

Key responsibilities:

Achieve regional sales and business development objectives in the industrial and electronics markets, in alignment with business strategies and marketing plans.Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers, prospects, key influencers, and specifiers along the value chain in target markets to drive growth.Manage a portfolio of direct accounts, creating and executing annual account plans through cross-functional collaboration to ensure long-term, sustainable growth.Drive new business development by acquiring new customers in line with regional market execution plans.Identify, qualify, and manage new business opportunities, ensuring timely and accurate documentation in Salesforce.Design and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs, clearly articulating the value proposition to support sustainable and profitable revenue growth.Possess deep knowledge of products, target industries, and applications, serving as a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders.Conduct Rapid Market Assessments to evaluate the Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) and prioritize business development activities accordingly.Share market, competitive, and industry intelligence with internal teams including marketing, R&D, technical service, and customer service to align strategies and enhance execution.Effectively lead pricing and contract negotiations, ensuring value-based outcomes.Provide accurate monthly sales forecasts, supporting effective planning and resource allocation.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry); additional completion of a MBA or Master’s in Business, Economics, or Analytics is a plus!Minimum 3 years of experience in the industrial sector, with exposure to key Vespel® application areas such as oil & gas, compressors, heat pumps, glass manufacturing, and hydrogenFamiliarity with industrial or production maintenance is a strong advantageBackground in business development and/or account sales management is requiredKnowledge of high-performance plastics and low-friction materialsProficiency in data analysis and machine learning is a significant advantageUse and knowledge of Salesforce beneficialExperience leveraging trade shows and conferences for business development activitiesCompletion of conceptual sales training programs is a plusSelf-starter with a growth mindset and strong initiativeExcellent business acumen and negotiation skills, especially in complex or challenging situationsCustomer-focused and results-driven, with strong relationship-buildingExcellent presentation and communication skillsFluent in English; additional language skills are a plusWillingness to travel up to 50% across the EMEA regionLocation: Geneva, Switzerland
