Johnson Service Group is representing our client an innovative manufacturer of advanced thermal solutions in the Seattle area. We are seeking a Business Development Manager with a strong background in providing thermal management solutions for applications such as cooling towers, cloud servers, data centers, and AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) technologies.
Effective thermal management is critical for the reliable, efficient, and sustainable operation of modern infrastructure. In particular, cloud servers and data centers require robust cooling systems to handle intensive workloads and ensure peak performance. Our client’s solutions are engineered to meet the growing demands of AI-driven computing and high-density environments.
This is a key leadership opportunity to drive strategic growth through both direct and indirect sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve sales and profitability targets by managing and expanding direct and partner-driven sales.
Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers, sales partners, and internal teams.
Lead strategic account planning processes to define KPIs, financial goals, and customer milestones.
Continuously analyze and refine sales strategies to address performance gaps and capitalize on opportunities.
Engage proactively with customers to understand evolving needs and deliver effective solutions.
Conduct competitive analysis and provide actionable market intelligence.
Deliver regular reports on sales performance and recommend strategies for continued growth.
Stay current on all company products to effectively position solutions for client needs.
Identify and qualify new business leads through proactive outreach and market research.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years of sales experience in industrial, mechanical, or thermal solutions industries.
Strong understanding of engineered products, especially fans, blowers, and cooling technologies, is a plus.
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the U.S. as required.
Salary $120K with 25% bonus on new business and 25% bonus if target is met
