This position is a key role responsible for identifying and realizing business development opportunities that support the dairy’s long-term growth and efficiency” says Site Director, Kim Bitsch.

 

Høgelund Dairy is a modern facility with approximately 95 employees, located in the southern part of the Triangle Region. We produce around 7,000 tons of Danablu and other blue cheeses, which are sold to markets all over the world. In addition, we are a technologically advanced company with highly automated production facilities.

 

How you will make an impact

 

As Business Development Manager, you serve as an ambassador for a safe and healthy working environment and naturally take the lead in putting safety at the top of the agenda. You report directly to the Site Director and are part of the site’s management team. Your primary purpose is to drive business development, efficiency, and strategic project management in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Develop and implement business strategies focused on growth and process optimization Oversee the site’s project portfolio, including key operational and investment projects (CAPEX) Prepare business cases and reports for the leadership team Lead project implementation and coordinate with support functions on packaging, NPD, and Engineering & Technology Drive LEAN, Arla Performance System (APS) and digital transformation initiatives across the site Utilize Power BI and digital tools to support data-driven decisions and performance management

Furthermore, we imagine you:

Have 5-7 years of experience from operational business development, project management, or consulting are proficient in English, both written and spoken. Preferably Danish as well.  you are used to working with MS Office. Experience with SAP, LEAN, digitalization, and performance management is an advantage, but not a requirement
