Job Description

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Visa clients, and to drive business growth for Visa and its clients.  The BDM will develop and maintain the relationship between Visa and its clients, represent Visa to its clients, and execute the strategy for the markets. The BDM will identify opportunities for business growth, and work with clients and internal Visa stakeholders to execute on them.  The BDM will work closely with the country manager and team to create and implement initiatives, solutions and processes to grow our business in this client segment. In addition, the BDM will also drive sales of Commercial and Money movement, Value Added Services such as risk products, data products and advisory services .

Key Competencies:

Establish, develop and manage relationships in country with all eco payment system players, Banks, NBFIs, Fintech, Vendors, Processors, Merchants and Domestic Switches.Represent Visa to the clients by providing a point of contact to them, with consistent, structured high-quality support on the organization, products, systems and policies.Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly and annual reports and presentations on market insights, business performance, and growth projections.Understand and help manage client P and L, to Identify opportunities and threats. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact launch success. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address these challenges.Ensure the development of individual designated clients operational plans, with corresponding tactics and actions to achieve defined goals.Collaborate with Visa clients and cross-functional teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive launch plans, define stakeholders and work within defined timelines.Maintain clear and open communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and management. Provide regular structured project updates and reports.Manage and motivate support functions/teams to ensure alignment and high quality of customer service and timely execution and fulfillment of sales.Assist with the relationships with the central bank, Gov entities, key technology partners and other organizations involved in payment services, in line with Visa processes and stakeholders. Utilize these relationships to influence and change attitudes and decisions of clients and to achieve Visa's goals in the country.Keep initiatives on schedule by closely monitoring milestones and deadlines. Adjust implementation plans as needed to accommodate changes.Able to operate and navigate well with limited guidance in complex environments

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
