Job Title: Business Development Manager – Telecom (CPaaS & Messaging Solutions) Location: Gurgaon / Bangalore (Hybrid/On-site as per business needs) Experience Required: 6 to 10 years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days maximum About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development & Pre-Sales Professional with a strong background in the Telecom domain, specifically in CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) or messaging product ecosystems. This is a critical role aimed at identifying business opportunities, crafting tailored solutions for clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

New Business Development: Identify and target new business opportunities in the Telecom industry with a focus on CPaaS, A2P messaging, and communication solutions.

Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with internal stakeholders (product, tech, and delivery teams) to define client requirements, design custom solutions, and deliver compelling proposals and presentations.

Client Engagement: Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure, while nurturing strong relationships with potential clients and partners.

Market Analysis: Track industry trends, competitor movements, and market dynamics to uncover new business avenues.

Revenue Growth: Consistently work toward achieving sales targets and expanding market share in the telecom messaging domain.

Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and engineering teams to align offerings with client expectations and market demand.

Required Expertise & Experience:

Mandatory experience in the Telecom domain – preferably with telecom operators, aggregators, or CPaaS providers.

Proven success in Business Development and Pre-Sales roles, handling enterprise clients or large accounts.

Strong understanding of A2P messaging, CPaaS platforms, SMS/Voice/OTT channels, and communication workflows.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build C-level relationships and influence decision-makers.

Experience working with cross-functional teams on RFPs, PoCs, and solution demos.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment.

Preferred Background:

Experience with global messaging platforms or CPaaS providers.

Exposure to international business development in telecom or messaging domain.

Candidates from a solutions-only background will not be considered.
