About the role:

Ecolab Healthcare ANZ supply equipment, services, and consumables into Hospital Sterilising Departments (CSD), Endoscopy units, Day Surgeries, and other key Healthcare and Life Science facilities throughout ANZ.

Due to continued evolution, we are looking for an exceptional person to join our dynamic sales team where you will identify opportunities, cultivate strategic relationships and secure long-term partnerships with key healthcare decision makers.  Based in Melbourne, with client coverage across South Australia and Tasmania, you will have the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally with internal divisions to develop tailored solutions that address customer needs. If you are a high performing sales consultant looking for an opening in the medical capital equipment field, then this may be your opportunity.

This role offers a great mixture of client support and new business development. You will have outstanding customer focus and will spend a great deal of time face-to-face with our clients in sterilising services and infection control departments. You will liaise with unit managers, nurses, technicians, executives and purchasing departments, visiting hospitals, day surgeries & dental facilities - no two days are the same!

To be successful in this role, you will ideally be:

Proven track record in business development

A consultative, empathetic approach - with a results orientated mindset

Highly skillful in negotiation, influencing and closing sales with both the private and public sectors

Ideally experienced in CSSD, scientific capital equipment sales or hygiene sectors
