Job Summary
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the sales role for Professional Software in a specified territory within Australia.The is a crucial role within the Wolters Kluwer Professional Software Sales team and positioned within the growth side of the business. The role expectation is to drive sales that translate to sustainable revenue growth within a territory.This role activities includes leading the prospecting and sales cycle from generating and identifying new opportunities, gathering prospect requirements via discovery, solutioning (with presales assistance), presentation and generating proposals to gain a winning outcome. With an overall goal to make quota, increase sales and profitability in the targeted segment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage a Professional Software Sales TerritoryDeliver revenue targets; Build, maintain and execute your territory account plan, showing your path to success to targetGenerate and identify prospects and conduct research to support your consultative approach to sellingFollowing up on new leads and referrals from our marketing initiatives, sales support teams and other sourcesDiagnose prospective client needs and present solutions offered within the Enterprise Software suitePreparing presentations, proposals, sales quotes, and contractsManage senior client executive relationshipsOwn and accurately manage your sales forecastAccurate and timely use of sales systems and processes such as SFDCParticipating in seminars, road shows, sales conferences, and other eventsLiaise with key stakeholders to support the sales process, Sales Op’s & Support, Commercial, Marketing, Product, Legal and Consulting teamsLive and promote the Wolters Kluwer values.
