Business Development Manager


Job Summary:

A Business Development Manager (BDM) for AMD Embedded is responsible for driving growth and building strategic partnerships for AMD’s embedded solutions. These are often used in sectors like industrial, medical, automotive, communications, aerospace/defense, and more. The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise and strong sales acumen to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and execute strategic initiatives to achieve revenue growth goals in a competitive market.


Principal Responsibilities:

Identify and analyze new business on x86, ARM / SoC opportunities in embedded markets (e.g., edge computing, IoT, robotics, medical devices, industrial automation).Develop joint go-to-market strategies by building and managing relationship with OEMs, ODMs, system integrators, and key ecosystem partners.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to align on product offerings and go-to-market strategies.Craft differentiation presentation / proposal to emphasize AMD’s value in performance and scalabilityWilling to travel.


Job Level Specifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field;


Work Experience:

Minimum experience required is typically 3+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.Proven track record of driving revenue growth / work with sales to meet sales targets.Ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making for business growth.


Education and Certification(s):

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Proven ability to lead in discovery campaigns/develop and execute sales strategies, meet targets, and drive revenue growth in a competitive environment.

Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities (English, Vietnamese), including the capacity to present complex technical information clearly and persuasively.

Strong negotiating skills to drive more revenue growth while maintaining positive client relationships.

Ability to conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and identify new business opportunities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate data and make informed business decisions.

Must be highly motivated individual and able to work independently.
