Siemens Financial Services are looking for an expert Business Development Manager to join our Vendor Finance team. In this role you will identify, acquire, develop and handle profitable new business within the soft asset markets. This is a pro-active new business role with success achieved via development of new relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and vendors.

What will you deliver?
Develop new relationships with clients in the soft asset markets such as; Telecoms, IT, Smart devices, Mailroom, CCTV, Smart buildings, recycling etcPro-actively generate new leads through various channels including client visits, outbound calling, emailing, utilising various social media platforms, personal network, attendance of trade shows etcResearch, create and follow up a target list for potential new business, and conduct sales meetings with prospective new clients.Work closely and with direction of the Sales Manager and Business Development team to identify sectors, products, suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to generate new business growth whilst controlling risks.Consistently canvass territory making customer calls and visits to discuss financing requirements, where applicable be able to sell the benefits of leasingFind opportunities to re-engage existing customers where business levels have dropped offAchieve budgeted sales targets in line with goals and strategyResponsible for the delivery of sales and product training within territory to drive greater product knowledge and product penetration across the core asset typesWhat skills and experience will you bring to the role?

You'll be a motivated professional who can articulate technical solutions clearly while demonstrating a detailed understanding of sales processes and customer dynamics. Your results-driven approach and ability to navigate sophisticated business relationships will be key to your success.
Sound commercial understanding and awareness of the financing industry gained within the asset finance and/or similar equipment related environmentFull knowledge of the financial products required for funding in the soft asset sectors including leases, HPs, loansConsistent track record in client engagement, pipeline building, opportunity qualification, deal management, case generation, deal closure & handoverConfidence negotiating with senior partners both internally and externallyAble to use digital platforms to leverage social sellingGood understanding in key sector asset areasWhat can we offer?
