Job DescriptionThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling Lion’s Intelligence products by identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.
Responsiblities include:
Meet and exceed monthly and annual subscriptions revenue targetsDevelop and maintain a robust sales pipeline based on a targeted pursuit strategy, including contact mapping and engagement plans for each targetProvide accurate monthly revenue forecasting for commercial leadershipMeet and exceed monthly activity KPIs that support pipeline development, consistently tracked in SalesforceEstablish and conduct the necessary industry, institution, and client research to create tailored outreach for your territory and to support a structured and consultative approach to prospectingPresent the LIONS Intelligence products and services with a high degree of professionalismMaintain attention to detail in all aspects of sales administrationProactively identify opportunities to capitalize on developments or changes in the marketplaceWork with sales management to develop and write strategic sales plans, and execute stated goals and objectivesYou are an advocate and ally for diversity, equity and inclusionYou are a connector, working hard to ensure people and projects are not inadvertently siloed or silencedQualificationsStrong track record of achieving sales targetsAbility to identify, strategize and build new business opportunitiesPersuasiveness, executive presence, and outstanding communication and presentation skills, verbal and writtenSolid organizational skills and ability to work independentlyGenuine interest in and enthusiasm for LION’s content areas (marketing and advertising best practices in creativity and effectiveness)A committed and effective team playerAdditional InformationWe work hard to make sure Life at Informa is rewarding, supportive and enjoyable for everyone.
