About the Team

The Business Development team at Nutanix is a dynamic group focused on driving cloud sales through strategic partnerships and channel enablement. Operating primarily in major cities such as Chicago, Austin, and Dallas, the team fosters a start-up-like culture, emphasizing creativity, autonomy, and collaboration. Their mission is to empower channel partners to effectively sell and implement Nutanix cloud solutions, thereby accelerating revenue growth and expanding market presence in the cloud landscape.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Business Development Cloud & DB, who embodies a leadership style that encourages innovation and empowers team members to take ownership of their work. The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements and eliminating the need for in-office attendance.

The position requires up to 25% travel, which may involve meeting with partners and clients to strengthen relationships, conduct training sessions, and drive joint sales initiatives. This travel is essential for building momentum and ensuring alignment between Nutanix and its channel partners.

 

Your Role

Drive sales growth by enabling channel partners to establish and scale cloud practices with Nutanix NC2 on AWS.Develop and execute strategies to expand the channel partner pipeline, ensuring effective sales and delivery of Nutanix cloud solutions.Provide sales enablement, training, and support to partners to enhance their ability to sell and implement Nutanix NC2 solutions.Design and implement go-to-market strategies targeting key industry verticals in collaboration with AWS.Build and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners to drive mutual revenue growth.Collaborate with internal teams and VARs to align on sales strategies and optimize partner performance.Meet aggressive revenue targets through effective pipeline generation and partner engagement.Establish a foundational understanding of Nutanix products and the competitive landscape to drive effective sales discussions.

 

What You Will Bring

5+ years of proven experience in business development, channel sales, and partner enablement for cloud-based solutions.Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS and hybrid cloud solutions.Demonstrated success in collaborating with VARs, SIs, and channel partners to drive sales growth.Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with C-suite executives.Results-oriented with a self-starter attitude, able to manage multiple priorities effectively.Experience in designing and executing go-to-market strategies for cloud solutions.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for opportunity generation and pipeline management.Background in technical literacy, enhancing partner training and sales support.

 

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 135,200 and USD $ 270,000 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
