About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial sales leader to help scale Affordable Meals nationally. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to open markets, sign top restaurant brands, and help shape a go-to-market model from 0 to 1—and 1 to 100.

This is one of the highest visibility sales roles at DoorDash—working directly with the leads of one of our most ambitious new verticals. You’ll shape how we scale, how we sell, and how we create a new daily behavior for customers.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Sign top strategic merchants in each Affordable Meals market (where a high-touch approach is needed) Inform and shape the GTM sales model for scale—what works, where, and how we evolve it Collaborate with outside account management team for key merchant partnerships  Refine talk tracks and sales materials to unlock high-volume, high-retention partners Work directly with the General Manager of Affordable Meals in daily touchpoints Travel to key markets as needed to meet top merchants and own high-stakes deals Act as an independent problem solver who can lead, adapt, and move fast We’re excited about you because… You have 5+ years of experience in high-impact sales or business development, with a proven ability to build and scale go-to-market strategies in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments. You bring a deep understanding of restaurant operations and economics, including the ability to navigate margin structures, cost considerations, and how our value proposition impacts the bottom line. You’re skilled in financial modeling and using data to tell a compelling business story—supporting your sales approach with insights that drive confidence and clarity for partners. You’ve built or contributed to repeatable sales playbooks, refining talk tracks and strategies to scale what works across markets and teams. You’re experienced in selling into the C-suite, navigating complex stakeholder dynamics, and influencing senior decision-makers to drive high-stakes, strategic partnerships. You're comfortable traveling up to 30% of the time to lead in-market efforts and close top-tier merchant deals.
