In this Business Development role, the focus of this position will be to support business development activities in the US Gulf Coast. Perform fundamentals analysis and commercial coordination to support growth projects.

What You Will Do:

Conduct research and analysis regarding new growth projects for pipeline, storage, and low carbon opportunities

Assess supply and demand fundamentals, competitive landscape, and potential risks related to a project

Work directly with financial modelers to ensure economics accurately reflect commercial aspects of projects

Present recommendations on select commercial aspects of deals to support investment decisions.

Coordinate project inputs from a variety of team members.

Support deal processes such as responses to Requests for Proposals, M&A due diligence, and other commercial agreement development.

Monitor, understand and communicate information for major peers and customers to understand implications to GTM assets and projects.

Monitor current market intelligence and convey important industry developments and news items to the team.

Who You Are:

A bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or engineering with a good understanding of the North American energy industry (additional certifications would be a bonus, e.g., MBA)

2-4 years of experience in the Energy sector with a knowledge and interest of low carbon energy

Experience with conducting both qualitative and quantitative analysis, including research

Strong presentation and communications skills

Ability to adapt to frequently shifting priorities

Working Conditions:

Work performed in typical office environment with some travel required

Exposed to stressful situations where smart decisions must be made without supervision. Work may include any combination of hours in a given 24-hour period

Holiday and overtime work as necessary are also required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk

The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
