Job DescriptionContinental Tires is seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our Business Field Conti KIT team in Hannover, Germany. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and strategic guidance to support decision-making processes within the Management team.
Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts for the Conti KIT business fieldAnalyze financial data and prepare comprehensive reports for senior managementMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and operational efficiencyConduct variance analysis and provide actionable recommendationsSupport the annual budgeting and long-term planning processesEnsure compliance with internal controls, IFRS, and German GAAPParticipate in special projects and process improvement initiativesAct as a financial advisor to business unit leaders, providing insights on financial implications of strategic decisionsThe position is part time 50%
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferredSeveral years of experience in financial controlling or a similar role, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industryStrong proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecastingAdvanced skills in Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)Knowledge of business intelligence tools and data visualization techniquesSolid understanding of IFRS and German GAAPFluent English language skills (written and spoken)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of managementAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple prioritiesProactive approach with a strategic mindset and ability to drive continuous improvementApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.
