The mission of the Global Clinical Supply Chain Organisation (PTDS) in Kaiseraugst is to ensure that no patient is left without treatment and no clinical trial is delayed. Our vision is to provide innovative and sustainable clinical supply solutions to anyone, anywhere, at any time. By joining our team, you will play a key role in advancing Roche’s diverse and robust biopharmaceuticals pipeline, encompassing over 100 molecules in approximately 500 clinical trials across seven disease areas in more than 80 countries.
The OpportunityAs a BCM/bRM Manager in our Global Technical Operations team in Kaiseraugst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the Clinical Supply Chain’s resilience and risk preparedness. This position reports to the Business Operations Support Team.
Business Continuity Management (BCM): You take ownership of the BCM process for Clinical Supply Chain (PTDS), ensuring readiness and robustness.
Business Risk Management (bRM): You are owning the business risk management across various departments, maintaining a comprehensive unit risk inventory with regularly updated mitigation plans.
Training and Coaching: You educate and engage the PTDS extended leadership team on BCM and business risk management procedures.
Critical Analysis: You perform ongoing analysis of global supply chain activities and collaborate with teams to develop effective backup strategies.
Incident Simulations: You organise and conduct incident simulations, such as tabletop and walkthrough exercises.
Continuous Improvement: You promote continuous learning and enhancement within Roche's global BCM and business risk network.
Continuous Learning: You foster continuous learning and the sharing of lessons learned within Roche's global BCM and business risk network, while collaborating with the PTD Risk Management & BCM Network.
Partnership and Collaboration: You collaborate with commercial and clinical operations, site services, local emergency teams (LEM), stakeholders in pharmaceutical R&D, and members of the Pharma Technical BCM community.
Task Force Leadership: You direct task forces during global incidents or incidents specifically in Kaiseraugst.
This position is offered on a part-time basis (50%) and is subject to a one-year temporary contract.
Who you areYou demonstrate proficiency in Business Continuity Management and Risk Management, with 3–5 years of relevant experience as a must.
You bring advanced influencing, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
You hold exceptional skills in managing internal and external stakeholders, effectively balancing expectations and articulating ideas across different organisational levels.
You have a good understanding of Supply Chain processes.
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, with a talent for simplifying complex topics and delivering key messages to senior leadership.
