The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Engineer to drive our business continuity initiatives. This role requires a forward-thinking professional who excels at designing, implementing, and continuously enhancing robust continuity frameworks. As a thought leader in the field, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational resilience, proactively identifying risks, and embedding best practices across the organization.

Together, we partner across all functions and geographies, working closely with stakeholders at every level to embed resilience into the fabric of the organization. Our collaborative approach ensures alignment with strategic goals while proactively managing risk and readiness.
Your Role
Support the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide business continuity program.Execute tasks associated with the Business Continuity Program, such as facilitating business impact analyses and risk assessments, determining recovery strategies, developing and validating plans.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze critical business processes and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans align with organizational objectives.Assist business units in developing Continuity and Recovery Plans.Provide status to project executives in an agreed upon format and cadenceDevelop recommendations on solutions/processes to help Nutanix meet business goals and compliance objectives and assist with implementationProvide clear success measures, operational plans, and drive cohesion and engagementWhat You Will Bring
A minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity and disaster recovery.Effective and skilled cross-functional collaboration and communication at all levels of the organization.Proven experience in facilitating Business Impact Analyses and Risk Assessments.Comprehensive knowledge of business continuity principles, best practices, and methodologies.Experience with ISO 22301 implementation is preferred.CBCP or CBCI certification or related BCP-relevant accreditation.Serve as a Project Manager for the business continuity/disaster recovery initiative.Identify, develop and document new processes.Work Arrangement
Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
