TITLE: Business Consultant
LOCATION: USA, Virtual
GRADE: 13
The PS Business Consultant is responsible for advising retail customers on how to improve operations, increase efficiency and achieve their strategic goals. They will analyze existing business processes, identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions, often working directly with senior management.
Responsibilities include:
- Thoroughly analyze customer's business, processes, and challenges to understand the root causes of problems and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement customized strategies and solutions to address specific business challenges and optimize performance
- Plan, organize, and manage projects, including change initiatives, to ensure successful implementation of recommended solutions
- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and business cases to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Work on-site with clients approximately 25% of the time
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
- Industry knowledge: Familiarity with Retail industry processes, standards, and challenges; Experience with POS systems is highly preferred
- Proven experience in a customer-facing consulting role focused on business process analysis and delivering strategic recommendations
- Previous experience and understanding of Technical Software Solutions (technical skills not required, functional understanding is essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Project management skills: Ability to plan, organize, and manage projects effectively.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze complex processes and identify root causes of problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
