Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector Global C2 Solutions Business Unit (BU) is looking for Business Operations Leads to support business areas within a given Operating Unit. There are 2 available positions, both to be filled in Huntsville, AL.  

The primary objective of the position is to support the BA in the successful execution of cost, schedule, and technical performance in the delivery of products and services to the customer.  The BA Operations Lead reports to the BU Chief of Staff within the Business Operations and Strategic Growth organization, and will also serve as the Operations Lead for the BA Manager/Director; primary responsibilities include the management and oversight to the following critical functions:

BA Operations management, program execution and external coordinationOrganization and manpower staffing management and reportingSupport to program planning, start-up, and assessmentsLeading BA special projects and initiativesPreparing and/or presenting executive level briefingsPromoting operational efficiency and best practices to elevate BA/OU performance

Basic Qualifications

A03: Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience OR Master's degree with 3 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in lieu of degreeA04: Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience OR Master's degree with 6 years of experience OR 12 years of experience in lieu of degree  Dynamic and executive briefing skillsDemonstrated experience with operations and the management of projects, including:Leadership of medium to large scale projects and initiatives across multiple stakeholders and competing prioritiesSuccessful project completion within the confines of cost, quality, and scheduleProven ability to showcase attention to detail, collaborating across organizations and influencing stakeholdersExperience in leveraging automation and software tools that promote efficiency, i.e. SharePoint, Confluence, Teams

Preferred Qualifications

Active DoD Secret Clearance investigated within the last 5 yearsProgram management or agile project management experienceKnowledge of company and sector operations, policies, procedures and principles of operating practicesLean or agile trained/certified

Salary Range: $87,000.00 - $130,600.00Salary Range 2: $108,400.00 - $162,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
