We are looking for a Business Architect to join our transformation programme and play a pivotal role in aligning business capabilities with technology strategy across our retail brands.

This is a high-impact role that combines domain-driven design, made-to-order (MTO) retail process knowledge, and cross-functional leadership to drive scalable and future-ready retail solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Translate strategic programme goals into actionable end-to-end capability models. Lead cross-functional teams in defining and documenting future-state business processes. Act as a liaison between Enterprise Architecture and Business Change, ensuring alignment across solution design, data, and technology roadmaps. Define and maintain business architecture standards to support consistent ways of working. Map traceability between business goals, design decisions, and delivery execution. Facilitate change impact assessments and guide discussions at design review boards. Lead the design of scalable business domains, aligning them with modern retail platforms such as Fluent Commerce. Drive process transformation initiatives to unify MTO and PO orchestration workflows. Partner with stakeholders across multiple retail brands to align business processes. Identify and help address limitations of legacy practices with innovative solutions. Facilitate workshops, define user stories, and help prioritise product backlogs. Produce critical deliverables including context maps, capability assessments, and RACI matrices. Champion governance of business-aligned decisions across key domain areas.

What you will bring:

Proven experience in a Business Architect or similar role within retail or consumer sectors. Strong knowledge of MTO and DSV order flows, PO orchestration, and retail supply chain. Deep familiarity with digital platforms such as OMS (Fluent Commerce preferred), ERP (D365 FO), PIM, PLM, CRM, and eCommerce systems. Demonstrated ability to design and optimise business workflows using BPMN and capability models. Experience applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Design Thinking in complex, multi-brand environments. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation, and cross-functional collaboration. Track record in large-scale retail transformation programmes, especially in multi-country or multi-brand contexts. Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Monday.com, Lucidchart, and user story mapping platforms.

Nice to have skills:

TOGAF certification or equivalent architectural framework experience. Understanding of MACH architecture principles, composable commerce, or event-driven systems.
