The Business Applications Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing IT systems and enterprise applications to meet evolving business needs. This role ensures seamless integration between business processes and technology, while also managing application administration including SharePoint, Intranet platforms, and other enterprise systems.
This position is part of the Corporate Business Applications team and will be remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for enterprise applications.Evaluate and enhance existing systems, workflows, and intranet solutions to improve usability, performance, and alignment with business goals.Administer and support enterprise platforms such as SharePoint, internal intranet portals, and business-critical applications.Provide Tier 2 support for application and system issues, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution documentation.Coordinate with infrastructure and development teams to implement system changes, upgrades, and integrations.The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in systems analysis, application administration, or enterprise platform support.Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, intranet content management, and enterprise application ecosystems.Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, ITIL practices, and system integration.Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, SQL, and Microsoft 365 administration.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience with low-code/no-code platforms such as Power Apps or Nintex.Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise applications (e.g., Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow).Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for system and application tasks.Exposure to Agile or DevOps environments and practices.Strong documentation skills and experience creating user guides, SOPs, and training materials.At Danaher we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce. The salary range is $85,000 - $95,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
