Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

This role will head our Business and Intermediary Operations team and focus on driving strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery and client onboarding processes within the Pensions business. The candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, strategic insight, and a comprehensive understanding of Pensions MPF and its operations.

Oversee the daily operations of the Business and Intermediary Operations team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectivesLead the planning and management oversight for the development and implementation of Pensions strategic and business activities to meet business targets. Track and monitor the execution of deliverablesDevelop and execute a comprehensive client onboarding strategy specifically designed for Pension clients. Enhance intermediary operational processes to improve customer satisfactionsEnsure that all operational activities comply with regulatory standards, Group policies governance and the Group’s risk control frameworkActively manage day-to-day operations, supporting Pensions business oversight and addressing related matters within business partners, including HBAP and Hang SengFacilitate the resolution of business growth challenges, contributing to Pension MPF growth and retention strategies, including customer acquisition and marketing effortsPrepare and present regular updates to senior management on team performance, business and operational challenges, and strategic initiativesAnalyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to recommend the team’s strategic direction and collaborate with the Corporate Service Team to provide tailored made customer reports

To be successful you will need

A Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Education LevelExtensive experience in a closely related role pertaining to Pensions and Operations with extensive experience at managerial levelIn depth knowledge of MPF/Pensions, operations, and the regulatory landscape, along with strategic business insightsSenior stakeholder management capabilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organizationExceptional analytical skills and strategic thinking; capable of translating complex data into actionable insights and proficiency in relevant software and tools for operational management and reporting
