EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + The incumbent will manage all agency information technology needs by serving as primary coordinator between the Office of Technology Services (OTS) and department users. + The incumbent will be leading all information technology (IT) initiatives outside the scope of OTS; managing the agency's unmanned aerial system; coordinating, developing, and monitoring the agency’s annual IT budget; providing oversight on agency and OTS IT-related contracts; coordinating with OTS to establish long-term and short-term IT initiatives related to equipment, databases, procurement, and application development; and serving as the designated officer charged with the custody of records stored in an electronic database. + The incumbent will lead the initiative to identify and continuously improve core business processes within the Agency and across its divisions and operating groups by analyzing and determining the effectiveness of programs and developing recommendations to improve, streamline, and resolve substantive problems that affect Agency services and key business functions.
