Job Description

We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join GDIT as a Business Analysts. As part of our team, you will collaborate with GDIT technical leadership, Government customers, and other key stakeholders to identify and define in detail the customer requirements for information systems and then work with the development teams to translate customer requirements into detailed technical requirements that will be used in the software solution development process.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

Troubleshooting and assisting team members in troubleshooting production issues through discussion with end users and technical resources.Furnishing professional advice to all levels of management including the senior leadership team and working to solve business problems

Functional Analyst Senior Advisor Duties and Responsibilities

Developing clear functional business requirements/specifications and ensuring the team does the same and then developing the technical solution based on customer requirements/specificationsLiaison between the stakeholder’s Spectrum business teams and the DevSecOps engineering teamsAct as a senior level Subject Matter Expert (SME) on customer requirements Ensuring team understands the complexity and workflow of customer requirements and business processesEnsuring team properly develops software to meet end user requirements and needs

 Functional Analyst Senior Advisor Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in arts/scienceMust have experience documenting user requirementsComprehensive knowledge of corporate Systems/Solutions Architecture processes and trendsStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsExperience with software development cyclesSecret Clearance to start

Experience

10+ years of related information systems experience including Project management experienceExperience in full software development life cycleExperience working in Agile environmentsExperience using MS Visio for updating diagramsExperience working in Federal or State government environments Ability to work independently and remotely

The likely salary range for this position is $128,666 - $174,078. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
