Position Summary: We are seeking an entry-level Business Analyst to join our team to assist in all phases of the software development life cycle. Individuals interested in this position must have the ability to assist in the management of multiple projects in varying stages of implementation. Initially this position will focus on assisting in the development and support of our analytic products, requiring you to work closely with clinicians, actuaries, technical resources, and clients. Candidates must be team players with excellent interpersonal skills. They must also have solid, proven experience developing commercial quality business software applications.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Pharmacy or equivalent work experience. Ability to analyze user requests, define requirements, develop project plans and report conclusions. Ability to work creatively and flexibly, both independently and as part of a team. Working knowledge of healthcare data. Attention to fine details and work processes. Desire and ability to learn new skills. Good organizational, and written and oral communications skills.Preferred Skills:
Working knowledge of Databricks, Python, SQL, and relational database systems. Working knowledge of standard clinical terminologies and coding systems. Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office products.
