Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Business Analyst / Project Controls Analyst Training Coordinator to join our team! In this role you will get to you will engage in various business and project control tasks that require the application of fundamental techniques and analyses.
What You'll Be Doing:
Maintain the daily status of each job from start to finish, involving extensive follow-up with Inspectors and Contractors.
You will validate data and update the tracker as changes occur throughout the day.
Weekly Summary DOR:
Compile a weekly summary that includes:
Status of all active idocs and completed orders
Quality assurance review of completed projects by the Project Manager
Non-estimated/Expense Orders completed in the field/DC33 not completed
Status of customer complaint cases (CASES)
Capture of weekly routine emergencies
Creation of a weekly planned outage dashboard and late cancellation reason details dashboard
Invoice summaries for all completed jobs
Open Notification Report from Tracker
Data analytics for projects received from Contract Execution
Verification of resource changes and updating SAP via email to ED-Construction Resource Change
Project Controls:
Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for resolving complex project control problems.
Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current status against an established baseline schedule.
Cost Tracking / Budgeting / Forecasting
Assess the impact of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.
Dashboard Reports
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of relevant work experience
Experience with SAP
Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field
Proficient in PC skills, including various Project Controls software and Microsoft Office Suite
