Business Analyst - Physical and Digital Mail

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Physical and Digital Mail Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will analyze and optimize our mail processes, leveraging data analytics to drive efficiency, cost savings, and implement digital mail solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of high-volume mailing workflows to make data-driven recommendations and strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret data from mail operations, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the performance of mail services.Process Improvement:
Evaluate existing workflows and procedures within mail operations, recommending changes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance quality and digitize physical mail. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and track results.Project Management:
Participate in or lead projects aimed at enhancing mail capabilities, which will include software implementations, equipment upgrades, and process reengineering. Define project goals, establish timelines, and ensure milestones are met.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with various stakeholders, including operations, finance, marketing, and customer service, to understand their needs and requirements related to mail services. Foster strong relationships with vendors and third-party providers to assess performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.Documenting Requirements:
Gather and document business requirements for high-volume mail initiatives, ensuring clear communication of goals and objectives. Prepare business cases for new projects or enhancements, including cost-benefit analysis.Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all mail processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Stay updated with industry best practices and technological advancements in the high-volume mailing space.Training and Support:
Train staff on new processes, tools, and systems related to mail operations. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed. 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within the print and mail industry or a related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.Familiarity with mailing workflows, processes, and associated technologies.Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Knowledge of compliance standards in mailing, such as USPS regulations, is a plus.
