Business Analyst Intern – Internship 6-12 months

The International Retail Operations and Product Strategy department is looking for a Business Analyst intern ( 6 to 12 months) that will support the team on its daily operational activities, while supporting the analyses to provide strategic recommendations. It is a great opportunity to improve your strategic thinking, data gathering & visualization, and analytical skills while working in a dynamic and international environment.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Retail operations (70%)

Support the Retail Ops team with the monthly Retail Review governance

Monitor key competitors promotions / retail activations and provide the key highlights

Execute, and eventually recommend, ad-hoc analyses for products or markets that are not performing as expected (the analyses tackle a defined problem by mixing quantitative data and qualitative insights)

Revamp the promotion calendar used internally for all the different European Markets and Product Lines

For specific promotions, validate that the consumers are eligible to the promotions by verifying the invoice submitted by the dealership

Analyze and benchmark promotion effectiveness for BRP brands and competitors based on historical sales data

 

Product strategy (30%)

Conduct structured competitor analysis across EMEA, gathering data on pricing, specifications, and key features to support strategic decisions

Monitor market trends in the powersports industry, track new product launches, and update product comparison matrices regularly

Support the creation of value selling documents and product positioning materials tailored to regional needs

 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

Bachelor Degree

Currently studying a Master’s degree in Business Administration, engineering or equivalent

Prior experience in business analytics, business intelligence, or strategy is a strong asset

Fluent in English, other European languages are a plus (especially French, Spanish, German, Finnish, Swedish, or Norwegian)

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI knowledge can be a plus.

Strong interest in strategic thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.

Open, communicative and team-oriented.

Organized, accurate and value-added results oriented.

You are reliable with a structured working style
