Position Specific Description

The employee in this position will work on cross-functional projects to drive impactful change.   Projects vary greatly in scope and complexity requiring employee to perform various functions from defining requirements, troubleshooting, test development and execution to project management. The position responsibilities will require employee to become a subject matter expert in all billing options for both FPL and FPL NW, to effectively support the operation and projects, and ensure we continue to provide seamless experiences for our customers.

Additional tasks and responsibilities will include:
•    Assist in process design and modifications aimed at continuous business improvement, including automation and system enhancements.
•    Ensure business requirements are clearly defined and aligned with business needs and goals.
•    Participate in the application testing process, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
•    Collaborate with IT and other business units to address technical issues and assist in root cause analysis.
•    Document processes comprehensively to support business continuity.
•    Utilize business process knowledge to identify interdependencies and areas for improvement.
•    Build a working understanding of the technical solutions being delivered and contribute to identifying potential failure points.
•    Mentor and support junior Business Analysts and operational staff
•    Team oversees a 24/7 operations and may require extended hours to ensure service levels are met consistently
•    Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
