This position supports and assists the implementation of the Oracle HCM (Human Capital Management) application, with a specific focus on the Oracle Learn module, for Emerson business units in a global, multi-business group environment – and will work with the project leads, managers, and different agile teams at Emerson for any implementations and support covered by the Digital HCM and Talent Management Solutions Team. In addition, this position helps various business unit operations’ teams resolve production issues and provides user training, as needed.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:
Analyze legacy data and coordinate conversion into the Learning Management System Facilitate requirements gathering, document fit/gap analysis, and create technical design specifications Identify functionality gaps based on business unit requirements and current system functionality; Recommend best in class solution to the customer Manage the configuration of the application based on the business unit requirements and Emerson/Digital HCM standards, including Human Resources and Learning Management Provide guidance for User Acceptance Testing Maintain end user training documentation and train users on the Learning Management System Partner with the Organization’s point of contact and Operations team to identify and resolve production issues Assist with testing system functionality, enhancements, custom interfaces, reporting tools, and conversion programs Facilitate existing customer functionality enhancement requests Monitor application development and technical support to ensure quality and on-time work Present enhancement statuses to collaborators during Iteration Review meetings Handle and review failed transactions from the Learning Management System Manage mass data updates, content loading, adding classrooms, and adding instructors to the Learning Management System Understand business processes and map current functionality to Oracle Assist with the development of a test plan and testing the system functionality, enhancements, custom interfaces, reporting tools, and conversion programs Review and research new system features and documentation from quarterly upgrades Perform quarterly regression and enhancement testing Analyze test results and provide solutions Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skill for Oracle HCM modules Become the domain expert for the Oracle HCM Learn module Deliver training and mentoring to new members of the teamWHO YOU ARE: You identify and get to know your stakeholders. FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Human Resources, or related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of implementation and business support experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) 1+ year of customer service experience Legal authorization to work in the United States without need for sponsorship now or in the futurePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
