Business Analyst - Financial Data Platform | Belfast (3 Days On-Site)

We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a background in financial services and strong technical acumen to support a high-impact data platform modernisation initiative. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week on-site in Belfast and offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in a collaborative, delivery-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for ingestion, transformation, and reporting of financial data. Provide expert insight into financial market data, including reference data, counterparty data, and instrument data. Deliver detailed documentation such as workflows, use cases, and user stories. Support data validation and ensure alignment with business expectations.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Deep understanding of financial instruments and data management in capital markets. Proven experience in data-centric initiatives, ideally involving data lakes or migration to strategic repositories. Strong ability to liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams. Proficiency in documenting processes and requirements clearly and concisely.
