Business Analyst Clinical (Veeva, IDMP)
Job Summary We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in clinical to join our team in the Life Sciences sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis to support Business Process Engineering and a good understanding of GxP (Good Practice) regulations. Must have: CTMS systems, Veeva Vault RIM, IDMP, SCP, QMS, Quality docs Roles/Responsibilities • Work closely with the business, IT, security and implementation teams to define the complete end to end business process. • Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with product managers, stakeholders to collect and define product requirements. Convert them into detailed, actionable specifications for the engineering teams. • Ensure accuracy and quality of all applicable deliverables, in line with client SOP/Templates/Standards/Best practices and delivered within the timelines. • Support the implementation of clinical systems, RPA, or AI-driven automation in healthcare processes. • Support business team with identification and creation of test scenarios. Review validation cycle deliverables, test scripts and ensure requirement traceability. • Collaborate with business, vendor, IT teams to ensure that the workstream requirements are accurately interpreted and implemented • Flag issues/ changes/ risks to the Project Manager and workstream leads. Actively participate in sprint planning discussions and ensure sprint functional deliverables are on track. Required • 7+ years of IT Business Analysis experience with excellent communication skills. • Must have proven strong knowledge of SDLC, Validation & Compliance • Application knowledge of CTMS systems, Veeva Vault RIM, IDMP, SCP, QMS, Quality docs , multiple OpenText Documentum suite of products webtop , MS Project, GitHub, JAVA, JSP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, Workflow Manager, eCTD viewer etc.. • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, HPQC, Business process modelling tools • Multi-national global experience in interacting with senior management, collaborating across boundaries and relationship management, and influencing without authority. Bachelor's degree in engineering or pharmaceutical discipline. An advanced degree (MBA, MS etc.) and related accreditations (IIBA, Veeva, Agile certifications etc.) is a plus. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $60,325 to $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
